Sinclair Harding Precision Astronomical Regulator, London, No. 6, c. 1997, mahogany low dome-top case with beveled glass dial door, viewing window and full-length waist door, brass stringing throughout, silvered brass dial marked Sinclair Harding, England/No. 6, second's dial at the top, hours at the bottom, minutes around the perimeter with blued steel hands, eight-day time-only movement with maintaining power, dead-beat escapement with jeweled pallets, highly polished wheel work and pinions, beat-setting adjustment on blued steel crutch, blued steel screws and other elements, steel pendulum rod, heavy brass bob hanging from bracket on case back, calibrated silvered regulating disc within the bob and lower beat scale, ht. 77 1/2 in.

An excellent example of a precision timekeeper from the Sinclair Harding workshop. Capturing the essence of the precision age of the early 19th century, this clock is in essentially new condition.
