Steel-hilt English Officer's Sword, c. late 18th century, wire-wrapped shagreen grip, urn-shaped pommel with scale designs and an acorn, pierced guard with scale and foliate designs, pierced German rapier blade, blade lg. 43 1/2, overall lg. 50 in.
Note: This sword was sold by previously through Peter Finer in 1995, Lot 207.

Hilt is slightly loose, sword is in overall very good condition.
