Winchester Signal Cannon and Shipping Crate, c. 20th century, iron carriage marked W.R.A.Co./TRADE MARK/REGISTERED IN U.S.A., blued barrel marked NOT FOR BALL and MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO./NEW HAVEN. CONN. U.S.A. PAT. AUG. 20. 1901/10 GA, and a wooden crate marked WINCHESTER/TRADEMARK/ONE/BREECH/LOADING/CANNON, cannon barrel lg. 12, overall lg. 17 in.
Note: Accompanied by a document from Winchester stating that this gun was refinished in 1975 by them on special order.
