Japanese Matchlock Wallgun, oak stock with stamped figures, and brass fittings, .73 caliber round barrel with a flat top, and an iron ramrod, barrel lg. 26 1/2, overall lg. 38 in.
Note: Purchase receipts and Japanese registration papers accompany the lot. It was purchased in 1953 during the consignor's service in the military.

A few dings and nicks in the stock, wrist escutcheon plate is lose, some patina on metal parts.
