Spanish-American War Breech-loading Rifled Field Gun, Watervliet Arsenal, Albany, New York, 1898, the barrel mounted on iron carriage with wood spoke wheels, (oxidized surfaces, wood loss), lg. 89, bore dia. 3 in.
Provenance: Sold to benefit the acquisition fund of the Fort Ticonderoga Museum.
Note: This gun stood at Mt. Hope for many years on display.
