Model 1858 Canteen Identified to A.C. Reeder, Co. C, 24th Iowa Infantry, c. 1861-65, smooth side tin canteen with a pewter spout, covered in jean cloth (some wear and holes),marked on the front with a.C.R./Co. C 24th/Ioa, with a white-painted 19th corps badge on the reverse side, and an issue strap.
