Walnut Tall Case Clock, Gawen Brown, Boston, mid-18th century, the hood with flat-molded cornice above tombstone glazed door and freestanding columns flanking the engraved brass dial with a boss in the arch lettered "Gawen Brown Boston," chapter rings, seconds hand, calendar aperture, and cast spandrels, with eight-day, brass, weight-driven movement, the thumbmolded waist door with molded base, old surface, (imperfections), ht. 83 1/2 in.
