Mahogany Serpentine Chest of Drawers, Massachusetts, c. 1760-80, the shaped molded top above a cockbeaded case of four graduated drawers, all on carved claw-and-ball feet, old replaced brasses, refinished, (minor imperfections), ht. 33 3/4, wd. 37 1/4, dp. 18 3/4 in.
Note: indistinct chalk inscription on top drawer bottom appears to read "Basle Williams."
some glue blocks replaced. There are four plugged holes in the top near the center of the back edge. The top board of the back boards is an old replacement.
