Three-piece Ball Black & Co. Medallion Pattern Sterling Silver Tea Service, New York, c. 1860, attributed to John Wendt, each with a squat balustroid body, helmet-form finial, beaded handles with figural upright, and a portrait medallion on a striped ground framed within engraved anthemia, teapot, creamer, and covered sugar, teapot ht. 9 1/4 in., approx. 57.8 troy oz.

Creamer with small dent to spout and body, couple nicks to foot, foot bent slightly upward to one side (fairly unobtrusive but does not sit flat). Teapot with pin protruding from hinge, handle slightly loose, dent to backside of body, and foot bent sllightly up into body (again fairly unobtrusive but with slight wobble). Sugar in good overall condition. All with some surface wear.
