Edward VII Sterling Silver Kettle-on-Stand, London, 1936-37, William Comyns & Sons Ltd., maker, George II-style with a bullet-form body, acanthus-capped spout, on a reticulated stand with burner on three scrolled legs terminating in splayed shell feet, ht. 12 5/8 in., approx. 50.5 troy oz.
Estimate $300-500

Leather wrapped handle deteriorating (stitching pulled, dry with cracking and flaked losses). Otherwise in good overall condition with only very minor wear to surface.
