Description:

Victorian Sterling Silver Basket, London, 1898-99, William Comyns & Son Ltd., maker, with a foliate scroll and shell cast rim, two out-stretched handles, and reticulated frame on four scrolled feet, ht. 6 3/8 in., approx. 39.2 troy oz.

One foot bent outward, does not sit well. Otherwise with small reticualted elements bent out of place, some minor shallow dents (unobtrusive) and very minor surface wear, no apparent breaks, losses or repairs.
