Two Blue and White Covered Jars, China, 19th/20th century, both baluster-form, decorated with prunus blossoms, one depicting blossoms on a branch, the other sprigs of blossom, both on a "cracked ice" patterned ground, one jar with a band of banana leaves at the neck, the other with a band of ruyi-heads, ht. to 13 1/2 in.
Provenance: From the collection of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Thayer.

chip to rim of both lids, chip to inside rim of one jar, firing cracks, pockmarks to some areas.
