Jade Ewer, China, flattened globular shape resting on a short stem foot, the mouth slightly curving up and protruding to one side, on the other side with an elongated C-shape handle decorated with a bat head, a carved bird under the protuberance of the mouth, the body decorated allover with taotie masks and archaic scrolls in bas relief, celadon stone with russet markings and white inclusions, ht. 5 1/4, wd. 8 in.
