Nine KushiCombs and Five KogaiHairpins, Japan, 19th/20th century, comprising five sets of kushi combs and kogai hairpins; and four wood kushi combs, all decorated in various maki-e techniques, mostly with bird-and-flower designs, some signed including two combs respectively signed "Tatsushin" and "Riichi," pin ht. to 7 3/4, comb wd. to 5 in.
