Unsigned.
Oil on canvas, the mother wearing a miniature portrait brooch, the child in a red dress, with red drapery and a fountain beyond, 39 1/2 x 33 1/2 in., in a giltwood frame.
Condition: Laid down to a cradled Masonite panel, varnished.
Note: Bears an old mostly illegible scratched inscription "1905" on the back of the frame, next to a Museum of Fine Arts label reading "Mrs. Frederick J. Fawcett/30 Hyde Ave Newton/after Sept 15 1921/reline."
