Provenance: From the collection of John Herman Groesbeck Pierson, Greenwich, Connecticut, and Honolulu, Hawaii; gift to Laetitia Verdery Pierson, wife of George Wilson Pierson (1904-1993),Professor and Chair of History at Yale University.
