Sixteen Assorted Metal Two-prong KanzashiHairpins, Japan, 19th/20th century, four bira-bira sticks decorated with openwork floral designs with variously shaped tassels; six with metal leaf and coral glass work flowers, parcel gilt, chased details; three metalwork sticks including one with chased design, one with an openwork scroll, and one with an openwork hexagon; one with a coral glass ball on top, with U-shape holder; one with a sparkly glass ball; and one with a coral branch shape finial, gold-plated, ht. to 8 1/4 in.
