Three Boxes and a Portrait Miniature, England and Continental, 18th/early 19th century, two tobacco boxes each with engraved scenes throughout: first with birds, oxen, lions, and other animals with script, and scrolls on sides, the second with eagle, heraldic shields, and foliate scrolls, lg. 6 and 7; an enamel patch box, inscribed "Love for Love" on the lid with two lovebirds, mirror inside, lg. 1 1/8; and a portrait of a woman in a red dress, ebonized wood frame with oval aperture, sight ht. 3 1/4 in.
