Comprised of a picture frame, stamp box, perpetual calendar, and four blotter edges, all with geometric overlays of sterling silver, all except the blotter edges stamped with hallmark HAMS and sterling on bronze pat. Aug. 27. 12, the frame also stamped W, frame 6 1/4 x 5 3/4 (window 5 x 3 3/8),box 4 1/8 x 3 1/4, calendar 4 5/8 x 3 3/4 in.

Patina good and uniform, except for a one inch circle on the top of the box where a liquid has lightly compromised the patina, picture frame glass probably replacement, printed calendar cards maybe an old replacement, expected wear to the undersides of the blotter edges. The box's wood lining in good condition minor ink stains. Patent stamp refers to process of attaching silver to bronze without solder.
