Lithographic map on paper, with an inset of the Exchange buildings in San Francisco, a reprint, with updates but no credits, of William A. Jackson's Map of the Mining District of California, of the same year; encapsulated in archival film, without adhesion to the piece, evenly toned, some large spots, repaired along folds with adhesive tape to verso with attendant discoloration, chip at top margin and two corners, with loss of imprint at bottom right, rare, 15 1/2 x 17 1/2 in.
