Condition: Lined, scattered retouch, fine stable craquelure.
Provenance: Sir A. Mortimer Singer; F. Ambrose Clark, by descent to the current owner.

Scattered dots of retouch primarily to the sky, ranging in size from pinpoint to 3/8 inch diameter. Area of retouch by the white horse's back legs and just behind his left front leg. Another area of retouch measuring 1-1/2 x 3/8 inches located just above and to the left of the signature at the right side of the composition. Craquelure is stable.
