Murder of Edith Cavell, 1918, edition of 103 (Mason, 53). Estate signed "Geo Bellows J.B.B." in pencil l.r., inscribed "No 94" in pencil l.l. Lithograph on paper, image size 19 x 24 7/8 in. (48.2 x 63.2 cm),framed.
Condition: Not examined out of frame.

Provenance: A New York collection.

N.B. Cavell was a Red Cross nurse during World War I, who was found guilty of helping wounded Allied soldiers escape. The Germans executed her by firing squad.
