Small Thangka, Tibet, 14th century style, depicting a mandala with Buddha seated on a lotus throne in its core, encircled by eight seated deities within a multi-layered square with four entrances, outside of the mandala depicting two scenes of Buddha's life on earth including his manifestations in two bottom corners and two scenes of Buddha's teachings in heaven in two top corners, along with other deities and priests, mineral pigment on cloth, gilt details, framed and glazed, painting 12 3/4 x 10 5/8 in.
