Pair of Carved Wood Doorframe Brackets, India, 19th century, with carvings on both sides of the brackets and along the edges in high relief, depicting a prince riding a horse at the top, holding his sword in the air and with a canopy above him, with horses and riders and leogryphs alternating and decreasing in size towards the base, surrounded by smaller motifs including rotund elephants, attendants leading horses, and dancers, ht. 40 in.
