Description:

Joseph Nye Dunning Wall Clock, Burlington, Vermont, c. 1820, mahogany case with wooden bezel over the 7 3/4-in. painted Roman numeral dial inscribed J. N. Dunning, concentric circle hands, carved side ornaments just below the head, flat waist section rising to the bottom ogival box door and veneered pedestal below, eight-day, time-only movement with lead weight and pendulum, ht. 45 in.
