Chinese Meditation Mat and Pictorial Rug, the mat late 19th century, wool on cotton foundation, central medallion composed of stylized peonies with floral spandrels, inner guard border with running key, main border shaded running wan, outer guard solid blue, 25 x 23 1/2 in.; pictorial rug, late 19th century, wool on cotton foundation, depicts a central figure flanked by Buddhist lions and phoenix birds, 60 x 27 1/2 in.
