Tekke "Animal Tree" Engsi, West Turkestan, mid-19th century, the red field divided into four panels of navy "tuning fork" devices and a serrated curled leaf cross panel, ivory meandering vine and double cross inner border, triple diamond with meandering vine and double Greek "T"-patterned outer borders, the bottom panel with confronting quadrupeds flanking stylized trees and comb motifs, brown staggered rosette elem, 5 ft. x 3 ft. 11 in.
