Hamilton & Jones Eagle Stencil Crock, Greensboro, Pennsylvania, c. 1870, a four-gallon crock with flattened rim and tooled neck, applied lug handles highlighted in blue cobalt; the body with blue cobalt line and wave decoration and stenciled eagle and delicate floral highlights within a stenciled inscription: "HAMILTON & JONES./GREENSBORO./PA/4," ht. 14 3/4 in.
