Portrait Miniature of Major Richard Gomonde of Madras. Bears signature in initials "J.S." l.r. Watercolor on ivory, 2 1/4 x 1 3/4 in., in a gold pendant frame, further housed in a blue cloth-covered oval case.

There is a loss and a scratch to the upper center, and wear around the edges. There do not appear to be any cracks or restorations.
