Willet in Beach Grass. Unsigned. Oil on artist board, the bird facing left, with a seaside landscape beyond, 12 1/4 x 13 in., in a molded and reeded frame. Condition: Surface grime, retouch.

there appear to be two small areas of inpainting in the bird's back feathers. Other areas flouresce under blacklight, but it may be due to a yellowed varnish.
