Portrait of a Curly-haired Woman in Blue. Unsigned. Watercolor on ivory, 1 3/4 x 1 1/4 in., in a gold pendant frame with chased designs centering the subject, the back further chased and centering a hairwork opening.
Note: John Ramage was an accomplished goldsmith as well, and often made his own cases which are of consistent fine quality.

Good condition overall with a very light scratch at 1:00 and a tiny surface mark at 9:00 near the hair curls. very minor roughness at lower edge. The suspension loop is an addition and the pin is missing.
