Monogrammed and dated "ATB/65" l.l., inscribed "In Catskills" and "Among the
Catskills/By A.T. Bricher" in pencil on the reverse, and with a handwritten note from former owner J.B. Sewall in an envelope affixed to the reverse.
Oil on academy board, 9 x 11 in. (22.8 x 28.0 cm),in a period frame.
Condition: Minor surface imperfections, fine craquelure.

In his undated note, J.B. Sewall confirms the attribution to Bricher and bequeaths the painting to his niece by marriage, Kate, wife of Rev. Charles Sewall.
