Les Petites Chaumières, 1878, probably the final state of four (Bourcard/Goodfriend, 149). Artist's red ink stamp (Lugt, 977) l.c., signed and dated within the plate, identified on a label from Frederick Keppel and Co., New York, affixed to the backing. Etching with aquatint and drypoint on paper, plate size 4 x 5 3/8 in. (10.2 x 13.5 cm),framed.
Condition: Margins 1/2 inch or more, subtle toning, several fox marks to margins, gentle rippling, not examined out of frame.
Provenance: From the collection of Mina Boehm Metzger, New York, then by descent to the current owners.
