Edward Joseph Ruscha, known as Ed Ruscha (American, b. 1937)

Every Building on Sunset Strip/A Leporello Book, 1966, from the first edition of 1,000, printed by Dick de Ruscha, Los Angeles, published by the artist (Engberg/Ruscha Editions, B4, illustrated on p. 84/89). Identified on the title page. Offset lithograph in a continuous run, "page" sizes 7 1/16 x 5 1/2 in. (17.8 x 13.9 cm),presented in the original slipcase (wear/losses).
Condition: Toning to cover, very minor wear.

Provenance: A New York City estate.

N.B. A receipt for the purchase of the book dated October 30, 1970, from Wittenborn and Company, Scarsdale, New York, accompanies the lot.
Estimate $300-350

Top and bottom of case partially split/separating from cover. Gentle toning at the interior folds and spine. No additional condition to report.
