Spencer Repeating Model 1865 Carbine, c. 1865, walnut stock and handguard with no visible cartouche, serial number 33051, steel barrel with three groove rifling, steel saddlebar and fittings, marked on top of the receiver SPENCER REPEATING RIFLE/PAT'D MARCH 6, 1860/MANUF'D AT PROV. R.I./ BY BURNSIDE RIFLE CO./MODEL 1865., barrel lg. 20, overall lg. 37 in.

Stock has some dings, nicks, and light crack in the middle of the butt, steel parts have a dark patina with some scattered pitting.
