Classical Mahogany Carved Two-part Dining Table, possibly attributed to William Fiske, Boston, Massachusetts, c. 1820, with molded top and rounded corners on a beaded apron with two drawers over vase- and ring-turned supports on four outward scrolling paneled legs ending in cast brass hairy paw feet on casters, (refinished),ht. 29, wd. 100, dp. 41 3/4 in.
Note: A very similar table was exhibited in Hirschl and Adler Galleries: Boston In The Age Of Neo-Classicism, an exhibition from November 27, 1999 to February 5, 2000, which is stenciled "William Fiske," fig. 8, p. 24.
