Paint-decorated and Gilt-stenciled Tall Case Clock case decorated by Rufus Cole, Broadalbin, c. 1830, the case elaborately decorated with grain painting, gilt stenciling of flowers, an eagle, baskets of fruit, and simulated stringing, signed on the base "R. Cole Painter," polychrome and gilt-decorated dial with thirty-hour wooden movement, (restoration),ht. 87 in.
