Nantucket View. Unsigned, inscribed "NANTUCKET" on the stretcher. Oil on canvas, depicting a panoramic landscape of the island's town and harbor, 9 x 27 in., in a deeply molded giltwood and gesso frame.

some surface grime, age appears to be early to mid-20th century. There is a yellow tint that initially appears as age, but could be painted in. The piece does not exhibit craquelure, but there is a piece of the gilt-gesso frame affixed to the painting.
