George III Sterling Silver Tray, London, 1794-95, John Crouch I & Thomas Hannam, maker, oval with beaded rim, handles, and feet, the top engraved with an armorial set within an oval scrollwork frame, surrounded by ribband, scrolling foliage, and a floral garland, and with engraved border, lg. handle over handle 21 1/2 in., approx. 59.9 troy oz.

Surface abrasions and specks of black silver rot. Solder marks to joins of handles. Halo to underside of engraving.
