Napoleon III Bronze-mounted Alabaster Mantel Clock, last quarter 19th century, movement marked "Raingo Freres/Paris" and numbered "1059", bronze numbered twice to reverse "1059", the Roman numeral dial inset into an alabaster base, flanked by gilt-bronze floral swags, and surmounted by a bronze cast with the young Cupid and Psyche, all on toupie feet, ht. 17 in.

Front alabaster panel on base loose. Surface inconsistencies to bronze patina. Bronze garland elements loose. Feet possibly later. Base held together with plaster-type material. Enamel on dial worn. Dial with several cracks. With pendulum and key. Wd. 20, dp. 7 1/4 in.
