George IV Irish Sterling Silver Tray, bearing marks for Dublin, 1825-26, lacking maker's mark, rim elaborately cast with four portraits representing the seasons amidst scrolling grapevines, snarling beasts, and rocaille cartouches, on four feet cast with C-scrolls, dia. 26 in., approx. 299.0 troy oz., together with a later ebonized stand.

Interior surface with no visible hallmarks (tests for silver),with usage wear abrasions, nicks, and minor surface dents. Frame in good condition with minor usage wear abrasions, nicks, some slight rubbing to decoration.
