Chinese Rug, Beijing, 18th century, the large center medallion depicting a "land meets sea" view with a deer, a bird, a bat, a single cloud, shrubbery, and a small pagoda-style hut, all in shades of salmon, gold, ivory, light blue, and midnight blue, enclosed by an allover midnight blue peony flower and vine pattern on a gold field, fretwork main border, 6 ft. 5 in. x 4 ft. 5 in.
