"Fachralo" Kazak Prayer Rug, Southwest Caucasus, dated 1863, the mihrab with an emerald green gabled medallion upon an ivory background and surrounded by aubergine and red latch-hooked diamonds and stylized rosettes, outlined by a contiguous "dragon's head" pattern on a red field displaying similar design elements, within a gold zigzag alternating ram's horn main border, multiple reciprocal sawtooth minor borders, 4 ft. 5 in. x 3 ft. 5 in.
