Bronze Figure of Liu Hai, China, Qing dynasty, the Daoist deity of wealth depicted standing on one leg, on top of a three-legged toad, juggling three coins on a chain above his head, some traces of pigment on his chest and clothing, ht. 6 1/2 in.

Provenance: Sold to benefit the acquisition fund of the Hood Museum of Art, Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire.
