Condition: Lined, scattered retouch, varnish inconsistencies, craquelure, surface grime.

Inscribed "Arthur L. Zwickel/..." l.l. just beneath the fence rail in an inscription visible under UV light.
Three dots of retouch, the largest measuring 1/4 inch diameter, located at the bottom of the shawl, left side, where it extends beneath the railing. Evidence of old retouch, which no longer fluoresces, in the shawl at the l.r. side. Craquelure overall, with area of tenting beneath the railing.
