Harry Callahan (American, 1912-1999)

Cape Cod, 1972, printed c. 1981. Signed "Harry Callahan" in graphite below the image l.r. Gelatin silver print, image size 9 1/4 x 9 1/8 in. (23.5 x 23.3 cm),unmatted, unframed.
Condition: Unmounted, two unobtrusive pinpoint areas of spot toning in u.c. of image, slight rippling to sheet at left.
Estimate $3,000-5,000

Sheet measures 10 7/8 x 13 7/8 in. (27.7 x 35.8 cm). Inscribed "S-183" in graphite on the verso u.c. The print is in good condition. The rippling is minor and is the natural result of developing and processing the print.
