Portrait of Lieven Willemsz. Van Coppenol, Writing Master (Larger Plate), 1658, a later impression (Hind, 300; Bartsch/Hollstein, 283 iv/IV [the head only]). Unsigned. Etching on paper, plate size 6 3/16 x 5 1/4 in. (15.5 x 13.2 cm),unmatted, unframed.
Condition: Margins 1/8 inch or more, glue residue and staining to corners, thin spots to upper right corner, staining and foxing (visible primarily on verso).
Provenance: M. Roy Fisher, New York; by family descent to the present owner.
