Plains Cree Buffalo Hide Bowcase and Quiver, c. third quarter 19th century, bowcase and quiver with fringe and decorated with multicolored geometric panels using small seed beads, some faceted. The cloth strap with pony trader blue, white, and black beaded foliate designs on a red trade cloth backing, includes seven arrows, (one steel point remaining),and a sinew-backed ash bow decorated with multicolored quill-wrapped trade cloth grip, and two beaded and quill-decorated panels, (some bead and quill loss),includes a custom wall mount, lg. of bowcase excluding fringe 35, lg. of bow 33 1/2 in.
