Needlework Sampler, silk threads worked on linen, "1836," a white-flowered green vine encircling a verse, a basket of flowers, the initials "CHE," "M*E," "B*E," "C*E," and "G*E" above a white house with green shutters and doors flanked by trees, flowers, and a fence, 16 1/2 x 16 1/2 in., in a later bird's-eye maple frame.
