Three Wrought Iron Hanging Pot Holders and Three Cast Iron Mortars and Pestles, America, late 18th/early 19th century, the pot holders with frame arched for hanging within a hearth and working surface designed for supporting a large pot, ht. to 15, wd. to 15 1/2, dp. to 14, and three mortars and pestles: one with a cover, both the cover and the mortar bearing sprue marks, ht. 10, dia. 5, another with molded foot and flared rim, with raised flower and other indistinct embellishment, (imperfections),ht. 4 3/4, mortar dia. 5 3/4, another with molded foot and rim, with impressed mark on bottom "SAVERY & CO. No. 4," (imperfections),ht. 5, dia. 5 1/2 in.
